About the Programme/Event

Want to learn more about climate change and how we can care for our environment in fun, creative ways? Water Wally & Sally have partnered up with our friends at the National Library Board and The Art People to show you how we can do just that! During this 1-hour online session, we will share some book recommendations, and do some art and craft with recycled materials.

This online programme is recommended for children aged 7 years old and below.

Participants are to prepare these materials before tuning into this online programme:

  • Drawing block paper
  • Marker
  • Glue
  • 2 small plastic containers (1 for water / 1 for glue)
  • Small paint brush
  • Blue paper (can be origami paper, or paper cutouts from magazines/newspapers, etc)

 

About the Speaker

The Water Wally & Sally Club, started by PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency, is the first water club in Singapore for children 12 years and below. The Art People – Kassie Ang

Kassie Ang is the co-founder of The Art People. She has more than 20 years’ experience in teaching arts and crafts to children, teens, adults and also the elderly community. She is also specialised in Japan Pastel Art, Chigiri-e (Paper tearing art), Etegami (Post card art) and Modern chinese ink painting (mixed medium).

The Art People is a specialised training school is Singapore that offers Kids classes to Adult classes by providing Well Rounded kids Art, Animation and Game Design Classes through structured curriculum developed using The Artlytical Method®. They have many years of experience in teaching Pre-schoolers to Teens the essential skills to help them develop their concentration skills, discipline, fine motor skills and confidence in all areas of art.
