I am a Career Coach and a Consultant and in the last 6 years I worked in more than 10 different companies: always successfully getting hired without using networking!
Let's be honest, nobody teach us how to make a good resume in school. Do you know my secret? When I got out of my business school, I researched and studied how to build resume and prep interview. I spent days on resume building, interview preparation, job offer negotiation... And I got good at it! I got my jobs and started helping colleagues, friends and clients build their own resume and land their dream job.
So what's the principle behind the 5-step methodology to build an awesome resume? Building a resume is the same thing as building a good product like the iPhone:
1. Are you making sure your product is what your client really wants? (PRODUCT)
2. Are you showing EFFECTIVELY that your product satisfies your client better than your competitors product? (COMMUNICATION)
You know what you have is good! So what is happening in the communication that makes it not efficient enough?
Come and find out by reserving your seat!
Here is what you will learn on the evening:
— How to read through job offers
— How to use the words that your interviewers want to hear
— How to know what information to put in your resume and how to put it
— How to make the line "Enjoy travel, music and books" in your resume exciting :)
So stop sending a billion of resume to get only a few answer. Stop stressing about that application you made 3 weeks ago because you still didn't get a reply. That way of doing is taking a toll on you and sucks all your energy!
Play it smart, learn the ropes and learn the strategy to communicate with your resume exactly what the recruiters are looking for! With that methodology, your resume and your LinkedIn will hit the mark!
