Gillman Barracks History & Heritage Tour (Sat, March 25th @ 5:00pm)

Presented by Friends of the Museums (FOM), this tour traces the rich heritage and history of Gillman Barracks.
Uncover the site’s past and present. Learn about its establishment as a British Military base and then as a training ground for the Singapore Armed Forces. Discover the nostalgia of Gillman Village and learn about its present-day life as a destination for contemporary art. Explore the existing buildings and experience the lush natural scenery, hear the anecdotes of days past and contemplate about what is no longer there.
Please note this is an outdoor walking tour* so wear comfortable shoes, bring water and an umbrella for rain or sunshine.
Tours might be cancelled in the event of an unhealthy psi level or other unforeseen circumstances. All Eventbrite registered visitors will be notified of cancellations 4 hours prior to the scheduled start time, so please check your emails before heading to Gillman Barracks.
