Noris brings deep knowledge of global data privacy laws, regulations, strategies, governance, and business process improvements to his role, drawing on his international experience across a broad range of industries, including financial services, technology, automotive, consumer products, and energy, among others. He has delivered global data privacy projects for companies ranging in size from start-ups to Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 enterprises, as well as public-sector regulatory agencies. He is highly attuned to current frameworks and technologies, emerging trends, and best practices related to data privacy. Noris’ international experience encompasses Asia (China, India, Japan, and the ASEAN nations of Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines), Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the European Union. Ankur utilizes extensive education and experience along with his business and security knowledge to deploy leading practices across all security aspects within enterprises. Edwin Lee is a partner in an award winning law firm, Gan, Lee & Tan (GLT Law). Prior to GLT Law, Edwin was a senior associate at Christopher & Lee Ong one of the largest law firms in Malaysia (an associate firm of Rajah Tann Singapore LLP). He also worked as an Intellectual Property lawyer at SKRINE, another top-tier law firm in Malaysia.
Edwin has advised a range of companies from technology startups to multinational corporations on a range of matters including cross-border M&As, venture capital financings, foreign investments in Malaysia, general corporate, commercial and employment issues, e-commerce, digital media, digital and electronic signatures, online payment systems as well as data protection and privacy matters. He pays particular interest to the technology, telecommunications and e-commerce sectors and also advises clients on regulatory and licensing matters for competition, telecommunications and data protection.
Edwin is a firm believer in coming up with practical, strategic and business-oriented solutions, while helping his clients see the big picture, rather than allowing small details get in the way of completing the deal. Edwin is deeply immersed in the entrepreneurial and startups community, having built and ran a tech startup before he formed GLT Law. This experience makes him attuned to the business and legal issues facing startups and emerging growth companies. Edwin speaks frequently at conferences, and writes articles for magazines, newspapers and the firm’s blog.

Dr. Sivasangaran Nadarajah holds a B.Sc.(Eng.)(Hons.) and a Ph.D. (Engineering) from Kings College London besides a LLB (Hons.)(London). He is currently an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, an Adjudicator, an Arbitrator, a Mediator and a Patent Agent.
Dr. Nadarajah trained at SIEMENS (as a Mechanical Engineer), at NCR (as a software programmer) and at PJ Motors (as an apprentice) before his Ph.D. in UK. He has experience as a consultant Mechanical Engineer in the construction industry (overseeing design, value engineering and contract administration of works, amongst others, including in the construction of large buildings and renovations in Malaysia) and in software development. As a legal practitioner, he has, amongst others: advised on Competition, Personal Data Protection and Construction Law; drafted and reviewed various IT, cloud computing, construction and engineering projects related contracts (involving power generation plants, infrastructure, etc.). He has also been engaged in litigation, arbitration and adjudication matters. Additionally, he has acted as an arbiter in several construction disputes; including, in delivering an Expert Determination and as the Adjudicator for other Adjudication decisions.
He has co-authored technical papers which were published in The Transactions of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) in Detroit, USA, in the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (London, UK), conferences and symposiums and has authored papers related to the law too.
