Event Details

We’re delighted to welcome you to this year’s Global Sustainability Dialogue (GSD), to be held in Singapore from 9-10 October 2018. The GSD helps us keep our network connected. We look forward to welcoming our global Sustainability leaders to our annual meeting to share experience and insight, deepen our understanding of strategic priorities and build our networks.

As sustainability issues rise up the political and social agenda, business is starting to take notice. It’s an exciting time for sustainability and an important time for our network. Our ability to adapt and create impact in the work we do for clients will ultimately determine our success. We look forward to exploring these issues with you further.

This year the GSD will coincide with the Responsible Business Forum (RBF), where PwC is closely involved as the Knowledge Partner (details below).

As our planning develops over the coming months the Spark group will be updated with all of the latest information. If you have any queries or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact one of the team.

Sustainable Development Goals in 2015 pivotal moment acknowledging role businesses will play in addressing world’s social, economic and environmental challenges. Now, all stakeholders in development need to move beyond theory and articulate clear pathways to achieving these goals.

Three years since the goals were adopted, RBF 2018 will bring together more than 800 leaders to share commitments to action, report on progress and together define a framework for measuring performance and impact.

The Responsible Business Forum 2018 will focus on devising practical solutions with work streams across five areas critical to the attainment of the SDGs.

1. Climate action

2. Urbanisation

3. Circular economy

4. Labor & human rights

5. Food & nutrition security

Each work stream will incorporate perspectives from business, youth, gender, technology, finance and policy, and seek practical, innovative and collaborative approaches to these issues through a new ‘lab format'. Crucially, at the end of the Forum, participants will commit to measurable, ambitious outcomes as a benchmark for future success.

GSD only

The delegate fee for the GSD will cover participant materials, meeting room costs, lunch and dinners included within the programme. The fee does not cover travel, incidentals or accommodation - each participant is expected to book and settle these items directly.

*The delegate fee for the RBF is covered under our sponsorship agreement for the event.
