Event description

Description

In writings on contemporary art in Singapore, the widely-held view is that the local contemporary art scene only started to develop with the emergence of the Artists Village.

The years 1986-1988 was a critical period which had signalled a radical departure from the early 1980s.

Speaker

Jeffrey Say, Lecturer, LaSalle College of the Arts
