About this event

Have you played the harmonica for your secondary school crush? Or sang along your favourite Xinyao songs alongside a harmonica tune?

The Harmonica Aficionado Society was established in 1996, and moved to its current location on Smith Street in 1998 with the National Arts Council’s (NAC) support. Founded by recreational players who were passionate about Harmonica playing, the harmonica scene was very vibrant in the 1970s and 80s.

The Harmonica Aficionados Society will take some familiar tunes and show how they can be played on the harmonica. This is for anyone who wants to learn more about this instrument or just enjoys watching talented musicians at work! Don't miss them!!
