With a reach of almost 1.8 million monthly unique users, Have Halal, Will Travel (HHWT) is the largest travel and lifestyle platform for Muslims in Asia, offering resources and technology tools to enable the fast-growing group of affluent Muslim travellers to plan their perfect trip without compromising their faith. Join HHWT cofounder, James Sundram, as he talks about the conceptualisation and growth intent of the media company, as well as the development of new opportunities that have arisen during the Covid pandemic. 

About the Speaker 

Entrepreneur, corporate executive and down to earth realist, James Sundram cofounded Have Halal, Will Travel (HHWT) in 2015 and currently serves as its Advisor and Board Member. He is also a board member of The Right Company and an Adjunct Lecturer, Trainer and Mentor at Singapore Management University (SMU).

Previously, James was CEO of the first social media company from Singapore to be listed on the SGX mainboard (SGX:AFC) and the Managing Director (International) for acclaimed leading Southeast Asian online property site PropertyGuru.com. His illustrious career has also seen him heading the Asia-Pacific region for Lonely Planet (BBC Worldwide), serving as General Manager for SPH Magazine Group, and Managing Director for Advertising, Circulation & Marketing for Dow Jones Publishing Company Asia.
