Hōakaʻai - Indigenous Foods (9:00AM Seating Time)

Hōakaʻai is a culinary experience that recenters eating as a sacred act to acknowledge our relations to ʻāina and to one another. Each month (February-May 2021) we will host a themed brunch and hold conversation on nourishing food and wellness at Ka Waiwai ma Nuʻuanu joined by Maile of ʻUlu & Kalo Bakery, Danielle of Drink Gazoz, and a special guest each month. The first brunch will be centered on Indigenous Foods.

**This is a micro-event with limited capacity. Virtual + Take-Out option now available.**

Pūpū: Citrus Salad with Assorted Vegetables & ʻUlu

Entrée: Green Curry with Kalo & Chickpeas (recipe included)

Sweet: Voyaging Foods Taro Bar & ʻUlu and Kalo Bakery Kalo Brownie

Drink: ʻŌlena and Ginger Sparkling Drink infused with edible flowers and local herbs
