Synopsis

Sustainable income & growth opportunities for today's investor by Francois De Bruin, Lead Portfolio Manager, Aviva Investors

Income and capital growth have always been investors’ top priorities. In current ultra-low yield environment investors are faced with many challenges in constructing well diversified portfolios to meet their return and income objectives without taking excessive risk or dipping into capital.

Aviva Investors Sustainable Income & Growth Fund is designed specifically to meet investors’ needs for income and capital growth. It aims to capture the diverse opportunities of cross asset to deliver high level of natural income only without use of derivatives or generating out of capital, while aiming for long-term sustainable growth.

Francois De Bruin, Lead Portfolio Manager, will explain how an unconstrained, bottom-up approach to multi-asset income differentiates from other commonly top-down strategies, how our proprietary ESG model guides the whole investment process, and how the team selects income-producing assets to generate natural income streams without depleting capital.

Francois will also demonstrate how the firm’s commitment to responsible investment is fundamental to our goal of delivering investment outcomes that matter most to today’s investor.

Add a little more zip to your income with Eastspring Investment Funds - Monthly Income Plan by Adam Matthews, Head of Client Portfolio Managers, Eastspring Investments

In the current low interest rate environment, investors’ hunt for yield and income has begun again. With rising market volatility coupled with the ongoing US-China trade tensions, many investors are cautious. While some investors may consider investing in traditional bond funds or single bonds, many face challenges in generating enough yield for their portfolio. The increased market volatility also shows up concerns surrounding investment risks and potential for capital growth. As such, many investors are looking for an all-weather product that can value add to their portfolio in varying market environments.

The long running Eastspring Investments Funds – Monthly Income Plan (“MIP”, “the Fund”) has been enriching investors’ life with a little extra each month since 2005. Having delivered almost 14 years of consistent income, MIP is now enhanced with new features and further defences against market volatility, so it can better serve investors’ needs in an ever-changing world today. Join Adam Matthews, Eastspring Investments’ Head of Client Portfolio Managers, as he shares more about the enhancements made to MIP, and how the Fund adds a little more zip to your investment income!
