For people who are new to Singapore, you might hear that Singapore is the hub of innovation in Southeast Asia. Not only is Singapore the home of new technology, but it is also the hub of corporate innovation.
INSEAD Entrepreneurship Club invited two experienced corporate innovation leaders from BNY Mellon and Standard Charter to share their experiences during this fireside chat.
About the speakers:
Johnny Wijaya, Head of BNY Mellon APAC Innovation Center, Enterprise Innovation
Johnny has over 18 years of international experience in developing strategy, executing digital transformation within financial services, consulting, telecommunications industry and the public sector, enabling digital transformation through the adoption of new technologies, ways of working, and capabilities that have resulted in positive culture change, revenue growth, operational efficiency, and risk reduction. Within his tenure at BNY Mellon, he has held multiple senior roles in Digital and Technology delivering services in APAC, Latin America and North America.
The BNY Mellon Innovation Center Network is an integral pillar of the organization’s digital transformation initiative. Johnny works across the enterprise to drive rapid execution of ideas and concepts in collaboration with clients, fintechs, big techs and internal teams, while creating an environment that accelerates and promotes experimentation and incubation of new products and services.
Lynette Lee, Venture Lead, Standard Chartered Ventures
Lynette’s role focuses on driving initiatives and startups in Sustainability (ESG) space within the Fintech innovation industry with functional responsibility in advancing ESG-integration standards and driving the evolution of such stewardship through spearheading collaborative ventures with industries. Integral to this stewardship is taking a strategic path to generate sustainable best-practices by adding impact through data clarity and transparency. She believes in constructive engagement with key stakeholders on ESG and strategic issues to support stronger performance to achieve positive and enduring outcomes in the ESG ecosystem.
