INSEAD Single Family Office Day, Asia 2018

This half-day function will be a closed-door event and a highly interactive platform for single family offices and family businesses from around the world with a strong interest in the region. It is an opportunity to hear from INSEAD experts and to explore ideas around alternative assets and private equity investing with like-minded investors. The agenda, carefully curated after conversations with families and their investment teams, will cover what we know is top of your mind these days:

1. Impact Investing – How to get it right?

As family wealth is transferred down to the next generation of millennials, these new owners are more likely to focus on social impact rather than traditionally favored philanthropy.

2. Partnering with PE – A Solution for Succession planning issues?

We will share how a leading Pharma company in Asia partnered with PE firm(s) and discuss this option for succession planning.

3. Venture investing – Hunting Unicorns in Asia:

The pace picked up for Family Offices in Asia investing in early stage companies directly. We ask – is this a realistic path to achieve target returns?

This is your chance to join a closed-door discussion with faculty from both INSEAD and Berkeley, up close & personal.

Attendance is open to single family offices and family members of family firms – GPs, multifamily offices and service providers will not be in attendance – allowing for direct engagement and a unique peer-to-peer learning experience. The Single Family Office Day will conclude with a lunch providing further opportunities for networking and relationship building.

This event is by-invitation-only and seating capacity is strictly limited, therefore only two members per Family Office/Firm may attend and registration will be on a first come, first served basis. Please also note that families new to the INSEAD network will be asked to address a few necessary due diligence questions before registrations are approved.

We would also like to highlight that the 10th INSEAD Asian Private Equity & Venture Capital Conference will take place in the afternoon of 7th and 8th November 2018. The conference will focus on the latest developments in the Asian PE & VC industry and market conditions and is expected to attract over 250 participants.
