Who We Are and What We Do

Just a stone's throw away from NTU, Insect Feed Technologies is a local startup that farms Black Soldier Flies (BSFs) by feeding them food waste. The Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) are hardy little creatures who eat almost anything and are able to survive in all kinds of environments. The BSFL voraciously eat the food waste, upcycling it into their nutritious protein and fat body mass which pets and animals love! They poop out the remnant as frass, an organic and chemical-free fertiliser ideal for leafy vegetables and plants.

• If you are driving: Meet us directly at the carpark at 97 Lorong Tawas. Look for a white tent.
• If you are coming by public transport: Meet us at LaunchPad @Jurong Innovation District, 2 Cleantech Loop, before taking a short 5-min walk through Jurong Eco-garden to the farm.

Our insect farm tours are up and running! However, please do note that:

1. Each tour has a maximum limit of 20 pax, and groups within each tour are limited to a maximum of 8 pax*.
2. Temperature taking and check-in using SafeEntry will be conducted before the start of the tour
3. Masks must be worn at all times, and social distancing will be enforced.
