Internationalization, Innovation & Collaboration (Day 2)

A specially curated experience and networking lunch at The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), a mission-oriented research agency that advances scientific discovery and technological innovation. A*STAR has the mandate to leverage technology to create economic growth and jobs for Singaporeans and Singapore companies, by bridging the gap between academia and industry in terms of research and development. Together with the other public sector entities, A*STAR develop industry sectors by partnering Local Enterprises for productivity and gearing them for growth;

There are many international projects and initiatives that A*STAR has done with SMEs, in particular through the AI-powered Collaborative Commerce Marketplace (ACCM) https://www.a-star.edu.sg/enterprise/innovation-offerings/programmes-for-smes and licencing their IP for commercialization. Today's visit will showcase a few successful case studies of SMEs collaborating with A*Star to access overseas markets (such as JMVistec https://www.jm-vistec.com in China) and even have them share how they work with A*Star. Our ELT banking partner will also present some ideas on how they can support SMEs in their innovation and internationalisation endeavours and journey.
