Interdisciplinarity or interdisciplinary research involves the combination of two or more academic disciplines into one research activity.
About this event
Interdisciplinary research draws knowledge from several other fields like sociology, anthropology, psychology, economics etc. It is about creating something by thinking across boundaries. It is a mode of research by individuals or teams that integrates information, data, techniques, tools, perspectives, concepts, and/or theories from two or more bodies of specialised knowledge to advance fundamental understanding or to solve problems whose solutions are beyond the scope of a single discipline or field of research practice.
In this webinar, Dr Craig J Selby and guests will talk about principles of undertaking interdisciplinary research, and share examples of experience from their own research, to help you explore the potential of the approach.
