library@esplanade presents Kids Fest, workshops for young children to explore and learn the performing arts.

About this event

About the Programme

The Kalimba, aka the Thumb Piano, is a portable musical instrument that produces chords and melodies with your thumbs.  Join us in this short introductory workshop where you’ll get to learn to play your first music piece with this fun and easy instrument.

This programme is strictly intended for children aged 7 - 12 years old only. Children need not be accompanied by parents during the workshop. Seats will be provided for accompanying parents to observe the lesson from a distance. The prevailing safe management measures apply.

Registration is required for the child only, parents need not register separately.

Programme Information:

*  This programme is conducted at library@esplanade. Parents accompanying their children will need to adhere to the prevailing safe management measures.

* All participants to register for a ticket. Each ticket admits one child. Arrive 10 minutes before the session commences. Seats of late attendees will be given to the waitlist.       

* The National Library Board, Singapore (NLB) reserves the right in its absolute discretion to disqualify or refuse admission to any registrant without any reason and notice.
