Kampong Walk on Pulau Ubin
Event Information
About this Event
Immerse yourself in the laid-back charm and relaxed atmosphere of the island while we take a stroll down memory lane past overgrown rubber plantations, forgotten cemeteries and untamed vegetable gardens.
Listen to the warblings of the straw-headed bulbul, a globally endangered bird, admire the iconic hornbills or try to spot a whip snake in the foliage beside the trail.
Although most of the trail follows paved roads and well-maintained footpaths, a reasonable amount of fitness is needed for this 2.5-hour hike. The tour will end at Ubin village.
Recommended minimum age: 10 years
Please note:
- Walk will be conducted in compliance with the Safe Management Measures published by the Singapore Tourism Board:
- Maximum 8 participants per sub-group
- Participants need to wear masks at all times
- Maintain at least 1m spacing
- Taking temperature of all participants before the start of the walk
- All participants to submit their contact details for contact tracing purposes
