Tour synopsis:
Today, Pulau Ubin is a laid-back island where life seems to move at a slower pace. On Ubin one can still experience how life in a kampong (Malay for village) must have been in the sixties.
Get enchanted by the rustic charm of the island and capture the tranquility of village life as we walk through shady coconut groves, along prawn ponds lined with mangrove trees and past old kampong houses surrounded by untamed vegetable gardens.
Although most of the trail follows paved roads and well-maintained footpaths, a reasonable amount of fitness is needed for this 2.5-hour hike. The tour will end at Ubin village.
Recommended minimum age: 10 years
Please note:
- Walk will be conducted in compliance with the Safe Management Measures published by the Singapore Tourism Board:
