In support of the national war against diabetes and in conjunction with the Kidney Dialysis Foundation’s (KDF) 20th Anniversary, a Public Forum will be held on 15th October 2016 (Saturday) at the Singapore Expo, Max Atria.
The theme for this year’s Public Forum is ‘Diabetes & The Kidneys - How to Avoid Kidney Failure’. It will focus on detection and prevention of kidney diseases in diabetic patients and how people can better manage their diabetes.
Our panel of speakers comprise of kidney specialists, endocrinologists, and a dietician, who will share knowledge on their respective fields. The forum will also feature a special presentation on cutting edge diabetes treatment research that could possibly lead to a cure of the condition.
The forum will be conducted in both English and Mandarin and will be free for the public.

Kidney Dialysis Foundation
The Kidney Dialysis Foundation Limited (KDF) is a non-profit charitable organisation, established in February 1996 and is an approved Institute of Public Character. KDF seeks to ensure that no kidney patient will perish because of the lack of funds for dialysis and to prevent, treat and cure kidney and kidney-related diseases. Year 2016 marks our 20th year serving the community.
