Do you realise that no matter what business you are in, it is always associated with human connection, and human connection requires communication. Having great communication will help to improve a person’s efficiency, productivity, foster good relationships and most importantly being able to show your authentic self.

Ever thought of why some communication styles do not work out well? Is it because of its technique? Or could it be, that it is not a style of communication that suits you?

Everyone is unique in their own way, and so is one's communication style. What would be your leadership communication style? Do you understand your communication style? Are you adapting it well? What can you do to make it more effective?

In this Masterclass, we will explore themes of:

Your leadership communication style and ways to utilise your communication style in the best and greatest ways.

We are looking forward to some great insights from the speakers and there will be plenty of interaction opportunities for attendees to truly understand their leadership communication styles.

Masterclass speaker: Ms Brenda Yong, Founder of Wealth of Life

As the Group Managing Director of KP Global Holdings Sdn Bhd, she founded the “Wealth of Life” training series which is a life and financial education program for all age groups that is growing rapidly in Asia. She is also the first lady in the licensed financial advisor category in Malaysia to be inducted into the Million Dollar Round Table. On top of running all her businesses, she is a single mother of 3 lovely children too. She is also a Career Consultant, Coach as well as a Media Personality delivering financial education with BrenOnAir. She is also a 5 times book author with titles such as “Managing Finances in Challenging Times” and “What Successful Women Do with Their Money”.

The future workplace will be a combination of remote, hybrid, and in-office. Thereby introducing a very exciting paradigm towards the building and leading of teams. Talent is now globally accessible and within reach.

How would Leadership in the workplace look and feel like, today and tomorrow? How might leaders of today and tomorrow best prepare for this era ahead?

McKinsey's insights here illustrate that hybrid is happening. With access to a variety of online tools to support our offline interactions, what might be some new frameworks and thought processes we can adopt and experiment with?

In this panel discussion, we will explore themes of:

- Culture | Purpose: How can leaders and team members co-build their team culture? Where a sense of purpose permeates international geographies across multi-disciplinary teams?

- Diversity | Inclusivity: Building a diverse team will require introducing inclusivity within teams. What are some best practices in this 1-2 step dance of diversity and inclusivity? How is #heforshe practised in your teams

- Collaboration | Communication: Cross-border collaboration across time-zones is very real and trying at times. How might communication be best conducted to foster productive collaboration?

- Transparency | Trust: For a strong team culture to hold, transparency within the organisation seems essential. What are some practices that introduce transparency and build trust within teams?

- Empowerment: To manage these VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) times, how might teams be best empowered to be Leaders in their individual capacities, to make decisions whilst building and growing our businesses?

This session will be useful for executives interested in leading, building, resilient work teams in a hybrid world.

We are looking forward to some great insights from the speakers and there will be plenty of open mic time for attendees to share their own thoughts and experiences and put their questions to the panel.
