This session offers SMEs an a practical guide to analysing their financial statements and gain a better appreciation of how their businesses are faring.

Speaker Profile:

Jonathan is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore with experience in audit, mergers & acquisitions and investment management work in a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). Jonathan started his career in External Audit with PricewaterhouseCoopers, before joining a listed blue-chip where he gained experience in internal audit, corporate mergers & acquisitions and worked in the investment team of its listed REIT.

In internal audit, he gained deep insights into internal controls and an operational perspective on how the various nuts and bolts of corporations work together. He worked on a wide range of projects, ranging from charitable funds, to subsidiaries, to an audit of the entire finance division of the listed company. During his time in corporate mergers & acquisitions, he honed his financial modelling and due diligence skills, and was part of the team that closed a S$60m deal in the tech space.

The entrepreneurial spirit within him prompted his venture into Joy Management Services Pte Ltd, a one-stop corporate service solution provider providing corporate secretarial, taxation, accounting, advisory and audit services via its affiliated company, Joy Assurance PAC. He serves as a director of Joy Management Services.
