About this event

About the Programme/Event

The new normal may be a damper on our spirits but 398.2 Storytelling Festival 2021 is here to put a smile on your face. Fairytales and folktales are not just for children; if you would like a respite from reality, register for our sessions and be amazed by our talented storytellers.

This festival is brought to you by Storytelling Association (Singapore) and Public Libraries Singapore.

This programme is for adults.

Please note that this programme will be livestreamed from an onsite programme at library@Esplanade Open Stage. There will not be any storyteller conducting the programme on Zoom.

Theme: Fairytales for Grown Ups

A bed of thorns, a lover from the depths of the ocean, and a vampilicious Red Riding Hood. These are not the usual fairy tales you are familiar with. Come a little closer and listen to twisted tales spun with darker threads and told from altered angles. Beware. Everything is not as it seems.
