As a renowned yoga teacher with over 40 years of yoga experience and teaching around the world, Mark Darby had established his own system of teaching. With diverse background and open-mind, Darby had harvested strength from Ashtanga, the healing power of Iyengar, the energy of Qi Gong, and the science behind anatomy train and integrated all these into his unique and vibrant way of teaching. He had helped many yoga practitioners to overcome difficulties, heal injury and calm the mind.
Mark began his practice of Ashtanga in 1979, under the master of Ashtanga Srik. Pattabhi Jois, in Mysore, India. He is the few teachers who had attained the highest level of Ashtanga Yoga teaching accreditation and are certified by Srik. Pattabhi Jois to teach the original Ashtanga method.
While Mark completed the highest level of Ashtanga and continued his practice with regular visits back to Mysore, he kept open-heart and embraced new theories/methods along the way to advance his training and teaching.

Day 1 - Breathing, Standing Pose
- Foundation of pranayama (breathing) , connective tissue (fascia) and Banda (Dan Tian)

Day 2 - Forward Bending & Twist
- Activation of Banda (Dan Tian) and connection with Pranayama (breathing)
- Guiding of asana through pranayama and drishti (gaze)
- Forward bending and twist poses
Day 3 - Inversion and Preparation
- Chakra and meditation
- Practice of vinyasa with steadiness and ease
- Inversion and preparation asana
Day 4 - Led class & Back bending
- Led class with Sanskrit
- Pranaya (breathing) and Banda (Dan Tian)
- Back bending & preparation
Day 5 - Cleansing & Meditation
