Hear entrepreneurs share their insights into how they tapped into their unique strengths and approaches to create brands that people love!

About this Event

Launching a brand of your own is an aspirational dream for many young fashion entrepreneurs, but what does it take to carve out a niche of your own in a crowded market and attract brand evangelists? Join our panel of distinguished young entrepreneurs as they share their insights into how they tapped into their unique strengths and approaches to create brands that people love.

Matthew Gideon, Creative Director of DEBONEIRE

Fresh out of high school at 17, Matthew could not find the perfect sartorial ensemble for his sophomore life on campus. It was the self-taught designer’s exploration of his personal style, coupled with his go-getter attitude that ignited Matthew’s career in fashion. Join us as Matthew shares his experiences establishing his label, DEBONEIRE, and how it quickly became a favourite amongst celebrities and socialites.

Elisa Lim, Founder of Will And Well

Will & Well was founded to improve our lives by changing the way we wear clothing. Many elements of modern clothing like buttons and back zippers have not been updated for centuries. And these inconveniences are further amplified for people with disabilities. Hear from Elisa as she shares how Will & Well applies design thinking and technology in order to create a new way to wear clothing by marrying fashion and function.

Fahmy Ismail, Founder of Kerbside & Co.

Founded in 2015, Kerbside and Co. is still arguably a very young brand. But what the brand lacks in age is more than compensated by Fahmy’s knowledge of vintage American workwear from the mid-20th century. Come gain insights into how Fahmy runs his brand without any real marketing push, but still gets featured in European and American magazines and denim-related websites, and has cultivated a loyal following in the West.

Elsa Tan, Founder of Le Cuore

A shoe enthusiast who unfortunately suffers from genetic bunion issues, Elsa understands the difficulty in finding that ideal pair of shoes. Come share in Elsa’s journey of dedicating herself to the art of shoe making and shoe customisation for people who suffer from foot problems so that everyone can express themselves freely and courageously.

Digital Marketing Extroadinaire, Tang Chee Seng will be moderating the talk.
