About this event

In this 6-hour workshop, participants will experience a Process Drama based on the fairy tale "The Pied Piper of Hamelin".

After the experience, facilitator Dr. Phoebe Chan, will guide participants to unpack the drama by looking at how it can variedly or holistically serve the purpose of language teaching, moral education, and the teaching of drama as an art form.

Participants will then engage in further activities to get an understanding on the design principles underlying this Process Drama, and explore the facilitation skills required of the workshop leader.

Key ideas addressed will be: role and tension, focus and framing, questioning skills and promoting reflection
