Event description
Fancy painting a lantern or being part of a lion dance ensemble? Pick up some nifty skills from our country’s beloved practitioners.

About this Event

Remember those traditional joss sticks makers, rangoli artists and lion dance troupe members? Despite rising competition, many intangible cultural heritage practitioners remain passionate about their craft. Meet My Craftsman brings Singaporeans to visit nine of these craftsmen, and at the same time, have their hands at practicing them!

About Heritage Conservation Centre

Celebrating her 20th anniversary this year, the Heritage Conservation Centre has a come a long way in managing our ever-growing National Collection. It now has a total floor area of about 21,000 sqm spread over 6 floors with more than 25 different climate-controlled storage rooms and dedicated conservation laboratories.

The Heritage Conservation Centre plays a leading role in heritage care in Singapore and focuses on three main objectives.
