Mindfulness Advance Course - Nov 25-27 (Sun-Tue) 3-Day Residential

The Mindfulness Advance Course is for graduates of Mindfulness Foundation Course and Mindfulness Intermediate Course. This course involves group reviews of the deeper learnings of the two previous courses, enabling the students to develop a deeper understanding and embodiment of the 5 foundational attitudes.

Students will conduct selected mindfulness teachings with each other and practice leading mindfulness practices.

The completion of this course will earn the student a Certificate to Lead Mindfulness Sessions and co-teach the Mindfulness Foundation Course with Brahm Centre trainers. Upon completion of 5 rounds of co-teaching and attendance of MBSR and a 5-day mindfulness retreat at Brahm Centre, you can apply to become a certified Brahm Centre Mindfulness Foundation Course trainer.


This course is led by NUS Adj. Assoc/Prof Angie Chew, Principal Mindfulness Trainer and Executive Director of Brahm Centre

23 Beach View, Sentosa Island, Singapore (if there is a change of hotel for any reason, it would be of the same standard)
Prerequisite: Must have taken the Mindfulness Foundation and Intermediate courses at Brahm Centre.

Please apply to take this course indicating the month & year you took the Mindfulness Foundation and Intermediate Courses at Brahm Centre. You will be able to sign up for the course only after your past attendance has been verified and you've been accepted.

Dinner, and other personal incidentals

What to wear?
Comfortable clothings, bring a shawl in case you feel cold. Sandals and shoes for walking.

Note:
- SkillsFuture Credits can only be applied to the course fee portion of your payment ($480 for individuals; $96 for seniors eligible for NSA subsidy)
- *If you have a roomate, please indicate his/her name during registration. Otherwise, you will be matched with a same-gender roommate, failing which you will be provided with an upgrade option by paying the difference.

Registration Process:
If you wish to use your SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) towards this course, please first register and pay a deposit online on Brahm Centre’s Eventbrite page. You will receive an Eventbrite Order Confirmation PDF, which you can then use to upload on the SFC website to make your claim submission. Your course deposit will be returned to your credit card (online payment) or by cheque (cash/nets payment) when Brahm Centre receives the funds from SFC, subject to the amount successfully claimed.

- Log in to the SkillsFuture website http://www.skillsfuture.sg/credit to submit your claim using your Singpass, and upload the Eventbrite Order Confirmation PDF as supporting document. You may submit your claim up to 60 days before start of course till day of course commencement.

* National Silver Academy (NSA) subsidy
- The NSA subsidy is for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents aged 50 and above.
- Each senior is eligible to receive subsidies for no more than three short courses per institution per calendar year.
- Arrive 30 minutes before class starts to complete the application process.
- Submit a front and back photocopy of your NRIC.
- Sign the form for consent of use of personal data by C3A and relevant partners.
- Participants who do not fulfill the above criteria will not be eligible for NSA funding and will be required to pay the course fee in full; no refunds will be provided.




CANCELLATION POLICY:
- ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, but you may transfer this booking to a friend using the same ticket/room category should you not be able to attend, with a $10 admin fee.
