Instructors
This course is taught by certified trainers including Ms. Angie Chew, Mindfulness trainer and Mr. Eric Lim, Mindfulness Psychologist.

1) Mindfulness Course for Kids (7-12yrs)

The Mindfulness course for children provides them with a taste of mindfulness, so that they know about it, and can thus return to it later in life, learning more about it when this is useful to them. Each session is carefully tailored to introduce mindfulness in a fun and engaging way, with the blend of neuroscience and applications in daily lives.

For many who have attended the original course in UK, they feel happier, calmer and more fulfilled; they can concentrate better; they have a toolkit to deal with stress and anxiety. Benefits of practicing mindfulness include improvement in mental health and well-being.

In addition, mindfulness has been shown to be capable of contributing directly to the development of cognitive and performance skills in the young.

2) Mindfulness Course for Teens

This course is based on the .b program that has primarily been designed for use in the classroom in the UK.

At the most simple level .b is an awareness-raising exercise to give all students a taste of mindfulness so that they know about it and can return to it later in life if they think it might help. However, for many pupils the course can relatively quickly lead to very positive outcomes: they feel calmer and more fulfilled; they can concentrate better; they have a toolkit to deal with stress and anxiety.

3) Mindful Parenting Course

Course outline:

  • Automatic vs Mindful Parenting
  • Befriending Your Child
  • The Art of Responding, not Reacting to Parenting Stress
  • Managing Conflicts and Communications in Parenting
  • Cultivating Kindness
