Mindfulness: Leveraging Neuroscience for Leadership & Performance
Career Development and Lifelong Learning Series
Thursday 23 August, 7pm at Amphi Roskothen
Leadership is challenging, requiring not only delivery on KPIs, but also a great depth of self-awareness, self-management and understanding of interpersonal relationship dynamics. Mindfulness as part of leadership development has become very popular, but what kind of mindfulness is effective, and how does it actually work?
Join us for this practical workshop where you will explore the neuroscience behind mindfulness and self-management to:
- Learn about your brain’s operating system.
- Understand how women’s and men’s brains are different.
- Experiment with simple techniques to gain greater awareness of limiting thoughts, emotions and behaviours to overcome roadblocks that stand in your way.
- Understand how to rewire your brain.
- Experience a hands-on mindfulness practice to start embodying new beliefs and behaviours to drive performance at work, at home, and at play.
The event will be facilitated by Avalyn Lim, INSEAD EMBA 2014, a NeuroChangeSolutions® Consultant and coach on INSEAD’s Executive programs as well as the new MBA Personal Leadership Development Program.
- INSEAD NAA members and a guest each: $15
- INSEAD Non-NAA members and a guest each: $45
