Description

Intro: This session is for anyone who wants to deepen their mindfulness practice, find out more about meditation and it's transformative potential, and learn together with a group of like-minded practitioners. The meditation that we practice follows the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) curriculum, by Jon Kabat Zinn.

Timeline:

  • 730-740: Introductions

  • 740-800: Instructor-led meditation (sitting or walking etc...)

  • 800-820: Sharing

  • 820-830: Instructor-led closing meditation

The Instructor: Han Ee is one of a handful of mindfulness instructors in this region who has completed the training pathway by the Center for Mindfulness (CFM), UMass and trained under the direction of Jon Kabat Zinn to deliver the MBSR program.

He is also the first instructor in this region to integrate biofeedback technology and assessment profiles into the MBSR program to evaluate and quantify behavioural changes from meditation training. <http://www.emergeperformance.net/whoweare>
