Synopsis

Dalam dunia sastera kita, pengungkapan mitos dapat dikesani, sama ada mitos ini menyingkap cara pandang hidup yang tertentu ataupun memang tercipta untuk menggagaskan sesuatu demi melanjuti kepentingan sekelompok. Malah semakin banyak mitos diciptakan. Ahli panel akan membicarakan tentang pentingnya suara kritik untuk membongkar mana mitos yang bertahan dan memikirkan jalan keluar daripada penyempitan pemikiran ini. 

About the Speakers

AZHAR IBRAHIM ALWEE adalah Pensyarah di Jabatan Pengajian Melayu, Universiti Nasional Singapura (NUS). Beliau mengajar kesusasteraan Melayu klasik, termasuk sastera Melayu moden dan Indonesia serta ideologi pembangunan. Tumpuan kajian beliau adalah sosiologi sastera, teologi sosial, wacana peradaban dan pemikiran Islam, serta minat dalam hal-hal literasi kritis dan pembangunan intelektual Nusantara.

MOHD FAIZAL MUSA lebih dikenali sebagai Faisal Tehrani adalah seorang novelis dan esais Malaysia. Karya beliau sering menjadi perhatian kerana sudut pandang alternatif yang beliau ketengahkan. Hal ini misalnya terlihat pada buku terbaru beliau iaitu himpunan esei terbitan Gerak Budaya dengan judul Sastera Adalah Makanan Anjing. Beliau juga menghasilkan novel grafik Fatah dan Farah di media sosial dan boleh diakses secara percuma.
