Event description
Vesak Day Special: Free guided meditation and talk on modern Buddhism

About this event

The teachings of modern Buddhism explain that even though there has been remarkable material progress and technological development in recent years, an endless pursuit of happiness from external sources has left us with little room in our mind to experience real mental peace and clarity. At this free public talk learn how to:

- Engage in a simple relaxation meditation.

- Recognise the real causes of our daily problems.

- Adopt a healthier mindset through the practices revealed by Buddha.

By making simple changes to our usual ways of thinking our mind will naturally become clearer, more peaceful and increasingly happy. Everyone is welcome to join us for this auspicious event.

There will also be an opportunity to make fruit and light offerings to Buddhas.

The event is free but places are limited so please reserve your place.
