Description
The Nobel Prize Series Singapore 2015, a new landmark event on the global intellectual scene, will be held for the first time on 5th and 6th November 2015 in Singapore.
Nobel Prize Series Conference on "The Future of Learning"
A unique constellation of Nobel Laureates, world-leading experts and key opinion leaders meet participants face-to-face and online for a day of discussions at Nanyang Technological University Singapore. The doors are open to anyone, scientist or not. It is a dialogue for connection and knowledge sharing about the latest thinking and trends that will impact the future of learning in the 21st century. Participating Nobel Laureates are Ada Yonath (Chemistry, 2009), Sir Harold Walter Kroto (Chemistry, 1996), Stefan Hell (Chemistry, 2014) and Wole Soyinka (Literature, 1986), as well as Sir James Mirrlees (Economic Sciences Laureate, 1996).
Four Concurrent Public Lectures
Four parallel public lectures by Nobel Laureates will be held at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, the Singapore Management University and the National Gallery of Singapore.
Nobel Prize Series aims to stimulate innovation and creative thinking, bringing together Nobel Laureates, other experts and lifelong learners. In addition to the conference and the lectures, Nobel Prize Series Singapore includes an exhibition on "The Nobel Prize - Ideas Changing the World", an executive roundtable and dialogue sessions with students in conjunction with the lectures.
