Tour synopsis:
On this 4-hour tour we will explore the island and its wilderness areas by bike from east to west, from House No.1 at Chek Jawa to the Shrine of the German Girl. Soak in the rustic charm of abandoned coconut and rubber plantations, forgotten cemeteries and overgrown vegetable gardens. From wild boars to hornbills, from snakes to mudskippers, Pulau Ubin also boasts an amazing richness of wildlife. Look out for these creatures as we explore the island on our bikes.
Although it will be a leisurely ride with occasional stops along the way, a reasonable amount of fitness is required.
Not suitable for children below 10 years of age!
Please note:
Bicycles are not provided and bicycle rental is not included in the ticket. Participants are encouraged to rent their bicycles from one of the shops on the island to support Ubin businesses. Alternatively, you can also bring your own bicycle to the island.
One-way bumboat fare to Pulau Ubin is included.
Return bumboat fare is not included. The tour will end at Ubin Village where participants can enjoy refreshments or further explore the island at their leisure.
Tour will be conducted in compliance with the Safe Management Measures published by the Singapore Tourism Board.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
This event is an outdoor activity subject to the whims of the elements. It may have to be shortened, delayed or aborted for safety reasons in case of inclement weather. No refund will be given in this case.
Details on meeting point, attire, etc. will be emailed to you a day or two before the event.
Pulau Ubin is a great place to lose time. Enjoy its relaxed charm, but allow for delays!
