Event description
To tame, train and transform our mind

About this Event

Our lives are ruled by our mental and emotional states. But usually we have what the Buddha called a ‘Monkey Mind’: untamed and out of control. So how to tame and train the monkey? Fortunately there are methods that can help us develop healthy and well-balanced minds even in the midst of our daily lives and worldly stress. We will learn some basic techniques to calm the mind and increase our attention. We will also explore how to transform our everyday life into an ongoing Dharma practice through cultivating such qualities as mindfulness, patience, generosity and a good heart towards all. ( By Venerable Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo )
