About this event

Actual dates: 31 May - 3 June and 8-11 June 2021

Our Mediation Training Programme will prepare you to mediate the most complex disputes to the highest standards across land, property, construction and infrastructure.This online course is divided into two modules consisting of the facilitative and evaluative approaches to mediation.

Our expert trainers will provide you with indepth, practical coaching and you will receive feedback from both your trainer and your peers.

What will I receive at the end?

Successful completion of modules 1 and 2 entitles you to apply for admission to the RICS Global Panel of Dispute Resolvers and Expert Witnesses. This would allow you to be considered for appointment by RICS to act as a mediator.

Status and recognitions:

The RICS Mediation Programme is recognised by the International Mediation Institute (IMI).

Successful completion of both Modules 1 and 2 is recognised by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and entitles you apply to become a CIArb Member.

The programme is also recognised by the Civil Mediation Council (CMC)

The programme is a Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI) registered training programme. Upon successful completion of the training programme, you will have the option to join the SIMI Credentialing Scheme as a SIMI Accredited Mediator Level 1.

Reschedule or cancellation of event

Should the participant(s) be unable to attend, a substitute delegate is always welcome. Full substitution communicated in writing is allowed up to 72 hours before the event first commences and is only accepted after RICS's acknowledgment. Please note that there will be no refund or cancellation upon registration.

RICS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event at our discretion. We will do our best to email all attendees as soon as possible, should this occur. Should a reschedule or cancellation occur, RICS will not be responsible for any costs, damages or expenses (i.e. travel) etc. that you may suffer or incur.
