About the Programme/Event

With the holidays fast approaching, decorating a household with homemade objects can make spaces feel more comfortable. In this beginner-friendly introduction to 3D Printing, we focus on making different custom ornaments appropriate for 3D Printing fast and easy.

Participants will learn to:

• Use slicing software to speed up the process of 3D printing by activating vase mode and selecting appropriate 3D models to do so
• Translate 2D images into 3D printable models appropriate for ornamentation
• Learn about the basic settings of Flashprint 5, a 3D slicing program that converts 3D models into instructions that a 3D printer follows to make objects
• Use vase mode on Flashprint 5 to make single-layer object that makes 3D printing quick

This programme is suitable for beginners.

Recommended for participants aged 15 and above.
