Stillness in movement – a journey with OSHO No-Dimensions Meditation® Workshop.

About this Event

Your body needs movement, your mind needs stillness. Normally, we live at the other end of the spectrum: the mind is over stimulated and the body sedentary.

This workshop offers you the opportunity to enjoy both the benefit of body movement and meditation. We aim to find the centre of stillness in the midst of action. And we will do that by bringing to you OSHO No-DimensionMeditation®, one of the most beautiful OSHO Active Meditations®.

Osho has developed and expanded this active centering meditation, that originally comes from Sufis in Central Asia. Using the breath and a series of coordinated body movements followed by whirling, your energy becomes centred in the hara, the “life energy” centre below the navel.

From there you can watch the mind and experience awareness and wholeness – the body moving in all directions, the centre unmoving. The body movements are accompanied by the Sufi sound “Shoo”. Rising from the navel to the throat, this sound helps unexpressed energy to flow naturally.

All welcome, from beginners to more experienced meditators. We start by offering an introduction to the brave new world of OSHO Active Meditations®. We aim to create the right milieu where stillness in movement can happen to you.

If traditional meditation techniques do not work for you, try something new and join us.

ABOUT:

CHETNA

Chetna is a fully dedicated and passionate teacher of the OSHO Active Meditations® and known for her warm, and welcoming nature.

Born in Poland, by Russian parents, with half of her childhood spent in Ukraine. At the age of 20 she moved to London and have built her banking career in the City of London over the last 15 years, whilst never forgetting her meditation practice.

In addition to her regular investment banking job in London, she has been teaching and sharing Pilates and OSHO Active Meditations® for 15 years before recently moving to our Singapore shores in January 2018.

Chetna understands the obstacles to meditation and wellbeing faced by many office workers, who are bound to sedentary lifestyle, and gives her great joy to share about balance and well-being for the modern urbanite.

SWARAM

A native born in Italy, Swaram shares a strong love for OSHO Active Meditations® and bringing inspiration for meditation in general to people in their daily lives. He holds an MA in Philosophy, a Diploma in Gestalt-Counselling and has spent an enviable amount of time in India and Nepal practising different kinds of meditation as well as building a career in Business Development during his time in London.

Questioning the nature of reality and the meaning of life from a young age, an existential crisis catalysed Swaram to pick up a book by OSHO – and he has never looked back since. The writings shared about finding answers to his burning questions within himself through meditation and self-inquiry – and this shines through in his teaching.

Swarm also has a passion for combining meditation with lifestyle interventions for optimal health. Over the years he has developed a keen interest in neuroscience, biohacking and epigenetics and have experimented with various lifestyle interventions – from diet to fitness, from cold exposure to fasting, and from breathing techniques to sleep hygiene – to optimise health and wellbeing.
