About the Programme
Explore fascinating local attractions and gain insights into the culture and history of Singapore through this author talk by Melanie Lee and William Sim, authors of “Out & About in Singapore”.
About the Speakers
Melanie Lee is a writer and lecturer from Singapore. She is the author of the award-winning picture book series The Adventures of Squirky the Alien. She is also the author of the middle-grade graphic novel Amazing Ash & Superhero Ah Ma.
William Sim is a graduate of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. He has experimented with various media and exhibited his works regionally. He is also the illustrator behind the popular Colouring the Lion City series as well as Botanical Singapore.
This programme is suitable for children above 6 years old and families. Registration is required for this programme.
Please note the following:
- All participants including adults to register for a ticket. Each ticket admits 1 person only. Parents to register separate tickets for themselves and their children.
- Arrive 10 mins before the session commences. Seats of late attendees will be given to waitlist.
- It is compulsory for children between 6 and 12 to wear masks or face shields
- NLB reserves the right to refuse entry to participants who do not abide by the ground rules
