PLAWK - PICK LITTER AS WE WALK. It’s healthy and good for mental wellbeing and the environment.
PLAWK @ Nee Soon East: 28 April, Thursday, 8am
- Meet at Yishun Park entrance facing Yishun Park Hawker Centre
People's Association, NCSS and CAL will collaborate to form community-based peer support networks for caregivers in 6 PA divisions. Join us to bless the community and as a call-out to caregivers to tell them that that we understand their situation and that they are not alone. With the community based peer support networks, we hope that their caregiving journey can be less difficult and lonely.
Gloves and garbage bags will be provided. You may wish to bring your own tongs though.
If you can’t join us for PLAWKING, please donate generously. To support this project, we need to raise approximately $218,000 per annum. Hence our ask is for at least $100,000 please for this sub-campaign. We are hopeful the Toteboard Enhanced Fundraising Scheme will provide a Dollar to Dollar match.
