Event description
More and more are looking to adopt the High-Tech High-Touch (HTHT) approach, where learning can be personalized for each student.

About this event

According to The Education Commission, by the year 2030, 825 million young people would reach adulthood without the skills they need to thrive. In response to the global learning crisis, more and more are looking to adopt the High-Tech High-Touch (HTHT) approach, where learning can be personalized for each student.

Our honorable speakers include:

Cheryl Witha, Educator of INTI International University and Founder of Lift as You Rise

Edizon Fermin, Vice President for Academic Affairs at National Teachers College

Francis Jim Tuscano, GS EdTech Coordinator of Xavier School San Juan

Ahmed Tlili, Associate Professor and Co-Director of the OER Lab at the Smart Learning Institute of Beijing Normal University

Yuekun Li, Country Manager of Philippines and Thailand at ClassIn (Moderator)

We expect to present more speakers - stay tuned!

In this webinar, we will discuss HTHT in terms of teacher preparation, specifically:

- How would you define HTHT education, and what are the biggest changes it brings?

- What EdTech tools/affordances can best support teachers in transitioning to the HTHT approach?

- What are the necessary shifts to equip teachers, especially in regard to pedagogies and curriculum designs?
