Priming for Success: Impactful Pre-Work(TM) for Dialogic Methods
Workshop Facilitators: Noel E K Tan and Dr Tom Schwarz
A workshop for consultants and facilitators
This is an experiential workshop for process consultants and facilitators, with early-intermediate to advanced levels of experience. It is experiential because it allows for participant learning to be generated from the in-workshop use of the Dialogic methods such as World Cafe, Open Space Technology, Dynamic Facilitation, Future Search, Appreciative Inquiry and Theory U.
The workshop assumes that participants have had experience using some of the methods, and see the potential to strengthen the linkage between Pre-work and their successful use of these methods in the workshop room thereafter.
This is NOT a workshop that teaches the “how-tos” for the facilitation of these methods. Any learning of such content in the workshop is incidental, as this is not the primary intention of this workshop. For facilitators and consultants learning about Dialogic work, this workshop provides a schema for those who see Impactful Pre-Work(TM) as a key lever for change in their professional work.
๏ There is a pre-workshop call where the workshop facilitators speak to registered participants individually to understand their learning needs.
๏ Due the nature of this workshop, participant number is deliberately kept low - there is a maximum capacity of 16 participants to keep the quality of workshop engagement and learning high.
