About the Programme/Event
Learn how to hold and stitch a soutache ribbon, before assembling and attaching findings to make an earring! This hands-on workshop is a tie-in for those who tuned in to June Koh’s talk on Soutache.
Please register your interest on Eventbrite. Successful registrants will be notified by 5 March 2021 (Fri). Priority will be given to participants who attended the Soutache talk on Zoom on 12 July 2020.
About the Artist
June Koh (@mypreciousgem_sg) is a certified instructor for Precious Metal Clay and an ACTA trainer who has been running workshops for schools, corporate teams, and private parties for 12 years. In addition to running precious metal clay workshops, she teaches wirework, beadweaving, macramé, kumihimo, crochet, knitting, soutache, and bead embroidery. June utilises a variety of techniques to create designs that are mixed media, whimsical, practical, and elegant. In 2010, she represented Singapore by exhibiting her jewellery designs at the 34th Japan Hobby Show, an international convention for makers and crafters held annually in Tokyo.
