Description

Biography:

Venerable Nakulugamuwe Sumana Thero is a well-educated monk who possesses university degrees in both law and counselling. He is the Secretary-General of the Singapore Buddhist Federation as well as the Founder of the Society of Buddhist Volunteers, a welfare organisation that caters to senior citizens. He also volunteers with the Singapore Prison Service during his free time.

Description:

Venerable Sumana Thero will deliver a series of four talks on how Buddhism can help us, laymen and laywomen, achieve good health, prosperity, success and happiness through mindful actions in our daily lives. Right Action constitutes an important part of the Noble Eightfold Path, and the Buddha was also concerned about the domestic and social duties of the layperson.
