BRIEF DESCRIPTION: A special opportunity to receive teachings on Science and Buddhist Philosophy by Ven. Geshe Dorji Damdul-la widely known for his inimitable proficiency and interest in science and Buddhism.

Geshe-la participated in several conferences on Buddhism and science, Mind and Life Institute meetings, and dialogues between His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama and Western scientists.

Discover about the nature of our mind, gain practical insights and improve your daily interactions with co-workers, friends, and families.

Have you ever wondered how some of us are unaffected from what seems like insurmountable setbacks, while other are overwhelmed by what appears to be trivial challenges?

You will be brought on a guiding journey to implore the source(s) that cause our challenging emotion to arise, as well as the methods to deal with it.

ABOUT SPEAKER: Geshe Dorji Damdul is a distinguished Buddhist scholar whose interest lies in the relation between Buddhism and science, especially in physics. Geshe-la participated in several conferences on Buddhism and science, Mind and Life Institute meetings, and dialogues between His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama and Western scientists.

He was involved in working on several important books of H.H. the Dalai Lama such as ‘Beyond Religion’ and ‘Emotional Awareness.’ Presently, he is serving as the Director of Tibet House, the Cultural Centre of H.H. the Dalai Lama New Delhi. He gives lectures and leads philosophy and psychology classes in various Universities like Delhi University and Jawarharlal Nehru University and Tibet House, DelhI. He also travels widely in India and abroad, to teach Buddhist philosophy and lead intensive retreats.

Geshe Dorji Damdul has written several important papers for National and International Conferences. The papers constitute interesting topics such as 'The Paradox of Brain and Mind' and 'The Ultimate Reality According to Arya Nagarjuna'. Geshe Damdul is widely known for his inimitable proficiency and interest in science and Buddhism. He is praised for his eloquent, insightful and powerful teaching style.


How to register: All ticket sale proceeds will be used for the cost of the event, hosting of Geshe-la, and the operational expenese to run the centre.

Q: What do I need to present at the registration booth on that day?

Please bring either a digital copy of your ticket or a paper print-out of your ticket(s). Please note one ticket entitles entry for one person.

Q: How can I pay for my ticket(s)?

Registration is $38 per pax. You are required to pay via bank transfer to United Overseas Bank Account 387-301-013-2, within 3 days of eventbite ticket registration. After successfully transfering the amount, please email your name, eventbrite order number, and bank reference details to admin@tibetanbc.org.

Please kindly make the payment right after registration to enable our volunteers to tally the payment accurately, and to secure your seat(s). The ticket cost shall be used to help us cover the cost of running the event, hosting of Geshe-la, and the operational expenses to run the centre.

This is a free-seating event. Registration will open at 9.00am. We highly encourage everyone to arrive on time for the registration.

This event is strictly non refundable. You may pass your ticket to an interest party to attend on your behalf.
