About the Programme/Event
This workshop is for adults who want to read aloud with children in a way that promotes the joy of reading, that builds children's knowledge, and that makes reading aloud more fun for everyone. Reading Aloud With Children means that a read aloud session is a two-way street with the children sharing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. The book becomes a tool for having a lively interaction with the children. That interaction, not the book, is the treasure, something that we hope to carry on with the children for years to come.
