Come discover handy tips and hacks in a news verification session by Shefali Rekhi, Asian News Network Editor, The Straits Times and Q&A with Warren Fernandez, Editor-in-Chief, The Straits Times. Want to know what it is like to be featured in the news? We hear from newsmakers who have made a difference through sharing their stories with the public.

Seasoned journalists from Myanmar, the Philippines and Sri Lanka will also share their experiences in covering civil and ethnic strife in their home countries and the lengths they go to ensure accuracy, balance and service to their communities and audiences.
