Connect with self and like-minded souls over four days in a relaxing getaway close to nature and a short walk to the beach. The itinerary includes a balance of Yin and Yang activities, with some free time for your own personal rest, relaxation and reflection.

What is a Cacao Ceremony?

Sacred Cacao is a gentle medicine used to open the heart. The active ingredients of the cacao work on the heart chakra, letting us sink into our heart, connect with Mother Earth, the cycles of nature and dance with the child within who knows joy, love, and human connection. Due to the active medicinal properties of Cacao, it is possible to experience a state of heightened awareness, which opens us to deeper-stored emotional densities that are ready to be seen, felt and released. The ceremony includes guided meditation, heart songs, movement and sound healing.

What is a Heart Awakening Workshop?

“Loving yourself is the greatest Revolution.” One could say the whole point of spiritual practice is to open and awaken one’s heart, allowing a fullness of being. The emphasis on working hard has often kept us from being in touch with the fullness of our true nature. Practicing gentleness and courage can be difficult. During this workshop we examine what keeps our hearts closed – towards life, in relationships and most of all, towards ourselves. We will engage in group dialogue, intention setting and ways of bringing our hearts back into alignment with family, work, and love.

The Cacao Ceremony & Heart Awakening workshop will be facilitated by Kevin Westrich, Spiritual Teacher and Author.

About Kevin Westrich

Our main facilitator, Kevin Westrich is a native of the Midwest. He is a Heart Opening teacher and founder of the Center for Soulful Guidance. His compassion as a counselor and facilitator enables him to connect with people from all walks of life, allowing abundant grace to be present for the deepest healing to occur.

Kevin’s life path has taken him from the U.S. Navy to the corporate financial world to humanitarian missions throughout Asia, the Middle East, Australia, Africa, and with Amistad Cuba (Friendship Cuba), a non-profit organization bringing medical supplies and doctors to the Havana Central Pediatric Hospital in Cuba, as well as to the sacred shrine at Lourdes in France. He has also owned several small businesses and worked with hundreds of clients in diverse fields including geology, flora and fauna, and the indigenous history and archaeology of the sacred lands of Sedona.

Kevin’s spiritual quest and transformation has been ongoing for 40 years; his commitment to intensifying his conscious awareness includes meditation, breath work, hiking, and the completion of a master’s degree in spiritual psychology.

Currently residing in Bali, he specializes in soulful guidance sessions and facilitates a weekly sacred Cacao Ceremony at the Pyramids of Chi in Ubud. Kevin's book "Trust, Patience, Surrender" chronicles his spiritual journey.
