About Renew Earth Sweat Shop
Renew Earth Sweatshop is a community and participatory art project reacting to the environmental impact and labour conditions linked to the global fashion industry. Renew Earth Sweatshop is an attempt to ‘reverse’ sweatshops – to become what a sweatshop is not, to counter waste, to rethink labour and ultimately to renew our earth. This year, it has set itself the goal of unwasting 500kg of fashion waste. It is one of this year’s grantees of the SG Eco Fund.
