Event description

Description

Amid the backdrop of the US-China trade tensions and softening economic data, the US earnings season still kicked off to a good start in mid October, pushing major indices up close back near to their all time high.

On the other hand, on our side of the globe, the civil unrest in Hong Kong is hitting the country hard with the Hang Seng Index taking lower swings since April this year, as the demonstrations escalate.

As traders, how do we intepret these current global events and use them for our trades? What are the key inflection points to watch for in the markets, and how can you make use of the DLCs to ride on the trends?

Come and join us at our DLC Interest Group meetup on 25 October (Friday), as top trader Mr Robin Ho shares his analysis and outlook of the market, and his trading secrets on how to multiply your trading returns with DLCs.

We will also have Mr Alvin Li from Societe Generale to share with us the latest updates to the DLCs, and Ms Ellain Tan from Phillip Securities to share with us how to trade the DLCs from the POEMS platform.
